Discounts Galore on Ensogo Philippines!
by admin on Sep.17, 2010, under Limbo
Ensogo is finally here in the Philippines! Ensogo is a FREE service that offers great deals of 50%-90% savings on the best things to enjoy, see, eat, and buy in Manila.
Ever heard if Social Buying? If this is the first time you’ve heard of it well you are in for a treat. Ensogo markets heavily on social networks like Facebook and Twitter to reach consumers, hence social buying. The whole idea is to share great discounts on restaurants, spas, activities and more usually from 50% to 90% off! Now wouldn’t want 90% off on let’s say your favorite restaurant!
Ensogo launched its very first campaign today in the Philippines, kicking things off with an awesome deal from Go Nuts Donuts, a locally owned food corporation. The Deal? an P80 voucher that can buy you P200 worth of any food and drink at selected Go Nuts Donuts establishments. What a deal right?
For companies in the consumer business especially the ones with no online presence, Ensogo provides them with a great opportunity to drive new customers straight to their stores by heavily marketing their brand and products online through Ensogo’s website and other online channels.
For the end user, this gives them a unique online buying experience, by providing them with really huge discounts usually from 50% to 90% thus engaging the customer to purchase and share the experience with friends on the social media space through incentive based sharing.
Hmm, incentive based sharing? YES! P100 credit for every friend you refer that makes their first purchase. Ensogo has a unique tracking system on their website users can use to invite friends on Facebook, post on Twitter, Blogs, e-mail, Forums etc.
How does it work? Every Ensogo user account has “personal link” that can be accessed through the user’s account page. This “personal link” has a unique code that allows the system to track if a friend has clicked the link and purchased. A list is displayed showing all the invites you’ve sent and if they have registered on the website and when they do their first purchase, P100 credit instantly appears on your account.
Imagine if you post your “personal link” on your forum signature, or your blog roll, or your Facebook status? Well, no matter how many people register using your link you make P100 credit for every first purchase even if you don’t know them personally. What if 100 people over the course of a month register and purchase from your single link? Then you would have made 10,000 worth of credit which you can use to purchase more vouchers from Ensogo!
So…
Is it good? a definite YES!
Well, its time for me to tell you guys to check out the site.

Another site I did for another really good friend of mine. This is the website of EMMA Philippines. They are group of car audio enthusiasts who’s goal is to build a well structured and easily accessible competition format for all kinds of car audio competitor’s and Enthusiasts. They run a series of car audio competitions, offering the opportunity to compete on a fair and level playing field.
I wanted a dark, but cool feel, with glowing lights, the blurred waves of light gives it a little sophistication. This site was made using WordPress Blog Engine.

Installing Aftermarket Chrome Vios Sidemirror Cover with LED
by admin on Jul.16, 2009, under Vios Mods and DIY
I got these really slick Chrome Sidemirror covers from ebay, straight from Thailand. These are not the typical stick on type, but actually replaces the original cover. As soon as the package arrived, I was so excited to install them right away. By the way these covers come with LED markers.

AMR Engineering. This another one of my personal projects. I did this for my good friend Andy. Being in the Autosport industry, he needed a site where he can showcase his products, which are mainly coilovers, but they also have other performance parts like stutbars and other stuff.
Andy wanted a clean cut design, light on the eyes but classy… I used MODx CMS framework for the backend stuff. Also created a simple flash slideshow player for the home page.

Vios Underground. This is one of the more recent personal projects I did. Being a Toyota Vios owner, I wanted to create a site dedicated to DIY and Modifications for my Vios. It eventually transformed from a simple blog, to a full blown social network and discussions site. It was quite a surprise to me when members started growing and becoming active.
I used a package called PHPizabi for the Social Network and Blogs and integrated it with Simple Machines Forum.
A lot of customization had to be done of course to make it look and feel the way it is now.

Finally a Blog!
by admin on Jul.14, 2009, under Design Musings
Well, here it is… my Blog. As a designer, sometimes you just focus on working on projects for other people. Have you ever had that feeling where you can never satisfy yourself? Well, the hardest customer is always yourself. Creating stuff like this has matured so quickly that as a designer, its as simple as a few clicks here and there and you have a workable website. Anyway I’m still the same, I probably would not even bother making the design of this blog anything much, in fact this is a free wordpress theme! I guess i’m too lazy, but I’ll get to it eventually. I’ll just be posting some of the stuff I did in the past, just so that I can at least put something on here.
Hopefully I’ll be able to put more meaningful content on this thing, if I had a blog several years ago, this would have been really really really full of stuff by now, but baby steps first. It took a while for this to come about anyway.
I’ll try posting as often as I can.
